Meet Taffy!

December 6, 2011

Are you looking for a little dog with a big personality? Look no further!

Taffy has no idea that she’s a tiny little dog. In fact, we’re pretty sure she thinks she’s a Great Dane! Taffy is one of those little dogs with personality plus.

Taffy was a lucky rescue when a soft-hearted volunteer when in to pick up one dog and couldn’t leave poor Taffy behind!

Taffy had developed a bad type of mange when she was young, causing her to lose all of her hair! Even through all of this-Taffy never lost her spunk! The mange is long gone, but sadly, it left her with some permanent scarring, and some of her hair will never grow back. Taffy’s not a vain girl, so she’s just happy to be healthy! We’re hoping that there’s someone out there who can appreciate Taffy’s personality!

Taffy is about a year and a half old and loves to play. She loves other dogs, and she’s also great with children! She’s been fostered with a toddler for quite some time, and we’ve been amazed at her patience with a playful 2 year old who is not always as gentle as she should be.

Taffy has been spayed and has had all of her shots. She is also crate trained and would do fine in an apartment.

Check out Taffy’s online profile, and email us if you would like to meet her! As an added bonus- Taffy’s one of Pup Squad’s dogs in need of a Holiday Hero! Read more about the program here! Along with getting some extra attention, Taffy’s adoption fee is discounted to only $100! Spread the word about sweet Taffy- this girl certainly deserves to find her forever home in time for the holidays!
